The Springs
A road trip is always fun and this one was no different. Pam and I talked and laughed and sang on the journey down. She drove and I 'D-Jayed'.
We arrived at lunchtime, walked in and felt the 'homeness' of Dick and Sibyl straight away. Even with boxes lying around (they only moved in a few days ago), the house is beautiful. Outside, the farm is green and peaceful. It's all gorgeous.
Our 24 hours there felt luxuriously long and unhurried. We went to church on Wednesday night at Crossroads church in Cincinnati. Once again, I knew that the Lord had gone ahead of me.
The sermon was all about Adventures - apt timing or what?! It was so good for my soul to hear these words as I was thinking ahead to climbing aboard a plane on Sunday and heading off for the next part of my adventure...
Here is the link - well worth listening to...
Crossroads Church - Adventures
The rest of our time at The Springs was relaxed and replenishing. Sibyl and I went for a walk and talked and talked, sharing our common current adventures. Seeing them establishing their home is making me excited in anticipating establishing mine - wherever it is!
