Fire

Watching Gavin burning off the undergrowth and scrub around the house was a helpful reminder to me of the sometimes necessary paring back and pruning that needs to happen in order to allow new growth to come.
A picture for me of the leaving process that I have undergone over these last months.

Gav is also future proofing - minimising the unnecessary tangles of dry and dead wood so that any potential bushfire is starved. Somehow this strikes a chord with me also.
